Kim Pierpoint, a qualified British Wheel of Yoga Teacher, teaching in the Reading and Berkshire areas.
A little bit about Kim
I have been practising yoga for just over 12 years and teaching for 5 years. My first qualification is in Horticulture, I have worked in a variety of sectors within this area and still remain active as a trainer/teacher. I also work for The British wheel of Yoga.
I love all styles of yoga and value the various benefits. Much of what I like can be found in my varied classes.
In 1995, I went along to a yoga class and instinctively knew before I walked through the door it was something I'd enjoy. In 2005 I decided to train as a yoga teacher.
I was lucky enough to inherit my first class from my then teacher, as she was moving to France. I now run several yoga classes across Reading and in the rural areas of West Berkshire.
Yoga makes me feel comfortable with myself and helps me to cope with every day life, and I want to share this with the people who attend my yoga classes. I always welcome suggestions and feedback.
I want to encourage people to enquire into their own yoga experiences and understand the many benefits. Learning to know yourself is the most important part of yoga.
Please feel free to contact me to ask any questions about yoga.
My other areas of interest include laughing, looking after my dog Betty, and I am a keen scuba diver (albeit a novice) and enjoy growing and eating good home grown and cooked food.
